wee... the endless state of boredom i felt since the start of sembreak is finally OVER.

first day was:

BORING - because wala may teachers... so we had to find something to do... BUT...

FUN - because lingaw ang mga taw... nanguyug gani 2ng mga ni.shift... i still want to call them blockmates bisan dili na... 'cause we were one baya.. HAHA.

mao na siya... sorry if you couldn't understand... my emotions are so DIFFERENT now.. wee...

i'm back, as i have said in my previous post... November 1 and 2 are considered holy days in our country and every year, we visit the graves of our beloved departed to pay respects to them.

but that doesn't mean we can't have fun... i had fun in those days...

we still did the usual "go-to-SM-with-family" tradition (yes, it is..) and i still did my usual stuff (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) but we went to the cemetery and to the place of my lola's relatives...

and had fun meeting a LOT of people on the way..

oh well, it's gonna be more fun once i go back for 2nd sem... wee... good luck 2 me.Ü

okay... today was the FIRST TIME this week that i've gone outside the house (besides the gym, of course..) since it was already boring in there... Good thing i made the right choice not to 'cause i did a lot of things unlike at home..

and sembreak is nearing its end, but i really wanted to go back since i REALLY miss my fellow blockmates although i'm not going to see some of them around. :c

woah, that was quick...

i thought sembreak would feel like a snail.. but well, here we are.

PROS:

1) after this, it's second sem. and this means seeing blockmates again! (except for those who'll shift... :(

2) go to Ayala almost everyday, including saturday! wee...

3) ALLOWANCE! (more money because i have saturday classes.. wee...)

CONS:

1) new lessons to study... ughh...

2) deal with new teachers... (well.)

looks like the odds are with the PROS. wee... good luck to me and my blockmates next semester.

when i watched Death Note for the very first time, i couldn't understand the later parts because I had something else to do. but now that I have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do, i ABSOLUTELY understand it already.

WOW. a trap within a trap, Light sure lost his mind when he lost. His death looked nothing short of spectacular.

i thought this week would end with total BOREDOM, but then today was really okay.

it was the first time i went with my mom for a LONG time because of my busy schedule. i really cherish every time we go out together. it makes me feel jumpy. hehe.

things I want to do before semestral break ends:

1) Watch Final Fantasy VII Advent Children (UNCUT!!)

2) Find new anime to watch... (the 2 new ones i mentioned weren't enough. I NEED MORE!)

Bleach is centered on a character named Kurosaki Ichigo. He has a strange ability to see ghosts. Suddenly, his family gets attacked by a "Hollow", creatures who eat souls. But a shinigami named Kuchiki Rukia came and tried to stop the Hollow, but she was severely wounded. Then, she attempted to transfer half of her shinigami powers to Ichigo but he unintentionally absorbs most of her powers, causing him to defeat the Hollow with ease.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

The world of Fullmetal Alchemist is styled after the European Industrial Revolution. Set in a fictional universe in which alchemy is one of the most advanced scientific techniques known to man, the story follows the brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric, who want to restore their bodies after a disastrous failed attempt to bring their mother back to life through alchemy.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a remake of the first anime adaptation. This version upholds the original storyline in the manga.

reactions? both a YES and a NO.

YES because I can finally sleep properly (huh?) and do stuff i couldn't do while classes go on.

NO because the block is separating already and it really feels SAD. ;(

i couldn't believe that all the FUN experiences we had only lasted one semester.. it seemed like yesterday when we all just got to know each other.

well, at the very least, i finished the first semester with NO regrets... (unlike someone out there, you know who you are...)

REALLY miss you guys...

Naruto's Heart and Soul have made it whole again!!

YES! The title is not a joke... I just read an article in both DB's and Taka Fansubs' websites that they have now merged to sub Naruto Shippuuden episodes! That means we will see the subtitles that we've known and loved plus the video prowess! It's going to be fun!! Good luck to them!

WWW 09.20.09

hello again... it's high time again for me to tell you what's up with my world...

here it is:

9/20/09, Saturday - A lot has happened on this day. It was like BACK-to-BACK-to-BACK...

First, there was a cleaning activity that we had to do as a CWTS requirement. It really is tiring to do such things but we HAVE to.. hahaha. Our teacher even extended the route of our cleaning. He was actually waiting for the time to run out.

Next, we went to the CAP Theater in Jones Ave. to watch a play by the USC Speech 108 students.. It was quite boring EXCEPT the kissing scene.. Seriously, they ACTUALLY kissed.

Last was the film showing for our ReEd class. The title is "In The Beginning". It is reasonable because the film was all about the Creation Stories until the Exodus of Moses. It would have been okay if we watched the movie 7-8 years ago because the graphics were so late '90s. WOW.

ALAY LAKAD 2009 - what a BORING walk it was. What made it less boring is talking with friends. hahai.

FRIENDS FOR SALE - i have no idea how this actually started but it's becoming more popular lately.. if you have a Facebook account, you should check this out.

NOYNOY's DECISION - he FINALLY decided to run for President. so far, it's been good on him. According to the Social Weather Stations survey (in Luzon area only), 50% said that they will vote for Noynoy. He better be prepared for the things that come his way to prove himself.

YAHOO! MESSENGER 10 - still in Beta, Yahoo! has already released version 10 of their all-popular Messenger. Still has the features you loved, now has improved video chat and Updates which lets you see what your contacts have been doing. You can even add your Twitter account and it will display your tweets...

DSAP'09 - It was a VERY fun experience. Only DS people understand what that means..

WWW 08.31.09: August in Review

Hello again.. back with another What's With My World for today and the whole month of August.. this month's been filled with a LOT of events...

STARTING OFF with the 5 events that has a great impact on my world:

1) Midterm Test - There's a reason why this is #10: i don't like tests... AT ALL... but still, i had to study.... ok ra ang results... pero im not contented jud...

2) Technology Advances So Fast... - i didn't post any tech posts but as I have seen it, many companies are putting out surprise devices lately... Like the Nokia Netbook 3G, I never expected that Nokia would actually be associated with Microsoft... BUT, it happened... LINK

3) USC Foundation Week - a VERY amazing week. why? THERE WERE NO CLASSES! wahahahaha.. it was a fun week because we kept going around anywhere we want to.. There was one forum that I had fun despite the seriousness of the topic. basta.. a 5 out of 5 stars experience.

4) Sen. Ted Kennedy - another unexpected death has happened. Sen. Kennedy was known for his years in the U.S. Senate and the only member in the Kennedy family who did not die a violent death.

Condolences to his family.

5) Pres. Corazon Cojuangco Aquino - the event that the Aquino family prayed hard not to happen. She died at the start of August at 3:18 AM. She was known worldwide to lead a bloodless revolution that became an inspiration for other countries to do the same. RIP Cory Aquino. We still miss you.

hello again... still busy lately... im tired almost everyday... i think i need to make a quick update about this so that i could get to sleep:

NINOY AQUINO: In the past WWW, I mentioned about Cory Aquino because she has left our world and went with Ninoy... Yesterday, we celebrated the 26th death anniversary of Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. He reminded us that the Filipino is worth dying for... I hope that our freedom will never crumble..

INTRAMS: the most-awaited event in the university... one week of no classes (i don't care if we have 2 go to school as long as there are NO classes...

WEBSITE: Lastly, i need affiliates and suggestions of stuff to use and i'll review it on my site... if you want to suggest, please comment below... THANKS A LOT for your help...

Midterm Fever and WWW 08.08.09

hello again... i've been busy lately with college that i didn't even get the chance to blog, and it's almost time for midterms in USC, so here's what's up with MY world since i last blogged:

She was a great leader, and a symbol of our democracy.. She died peacefully, finally lost against her colon cancer. I continue to pray for the eternal repose of her soul... RIP.

RIP MJ 1958-2009: Who would have ever thought that the King of Pop would die just like that. I seriously couldn't believe that he died that way. He was just about to come back with 50 concerts until March next year... Condolences to his family.

Mozilla Firefox 3.5: It is said to be two times faster than Firefox 3.0... It is true but it still didn't catch up to Google Chrome and Safari 4 (which I downloaded lately... it looks nice..) Still, it's the fastest Firefox to date...

Samsung's New Omnias: Saw it through PhoneDog, Samsung announced three new Omnias. They are the Omnia 2, Omnia Pro and Omnia Lite. Head on over to phonedog.com for more info about the three phones.

--changes in my life--

okay... another blog... i just want to do blogs to take some of my stress off..

many things have occurred in my life lately.. i'm having a hard time to adjust to all these changes.. college, new level of trust, etc.

it's just getting crazy here inside my mind. i do not understand why but it's all for the best. i just hope i can keep up with reality...

high school sure was A LOT of fun... really missed it... i always thought before entering high school: would I SURVIVE??

good thing that question wasn't a wall between me and the future... now, here i am! fresh from high school... all the memories still fresh inside my mind.. memories that i will keep forever.

now... i really hope college won't change who i really am. it would really affect my future if that ever happened..
